Welcome to Emmeline Cook Elementary School!
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Emmeline Cook Elementary School we welcome students and family members to our little educational community. My name is Michael Ruhl and I am very pleased to join the fantastic community of staff, parents and students here at Emmeline Cook.
This building has a dedicated staff to work with our students and the many caring families that are relying on us to provide the proper education for their child. We look forward to getting to know each and every one of you during the course of the school year and hope you will have a chance to get involved in taking an active part in the strong traditions of this school. We are dedicated to helping your child learn and achieve at the high academic standard that have been established at Emmeline Cook over the last sixty years of this building’s existence.
Throughout its history Emmeline Cook has earned a reputation for providing an excellent education to Oshkosh students. Though I am new to Emmeline Cook, it was easy to identify this building as a very welcoming place and a staff that will go out of its way to make sure every family feels welcome. Learning at Emmeline Cook is truly a cooperative effort between parents, students, teachers and the community. Dedicated teachers and supportive parents make it possible to offer a variety of programs for students such as PTO Family Nights, Read-ins, PBIS support programs, After School Programs as well as a number of specialty programs that are available to help children with special learning needs.
It is our firm belief at Emmeline Cook that all successful education starts with adults at home. Nothing can be more powerful in student success than consistent cooperation between home and school. Please take advantage of the many opportunities for your child and get involved in their education if time permits. We encourage you to volunteer, join the Emmeline Cook PTO, and attend as many school activities as time permits.
