E Cook Traffic Pattern

Let’s talk about DROP OFF & PICK UP SAFETY.

We understand the the weather is sometimes not favorable, or sometimes we are running late, but it is even more important at those times that we abide by the traffic plan that we have in place for the safety of the students. It becomes very dangerous for students if this plan is not followed.

  • NO parent vehicles should be in the circle drive between 7:30am - 8:00am, this area is reserved for school bus traffic ONLY!

  • Please be very aware of the crosswalk and the Crossing Guard at the corner of Hazel and Bent Avenue.  ALL of our students should be using this crosswalk!!

  • If you have to come in, PLEASE, make every attempt to park off of Hazel to allow the other parents to make quick drop-offs or pick-ups.  (Traffic will be monitored closely by law enforcement and tickets could potentially be issued)

Lighted School House

Our Mission:
Lighted School House will empower students socially and academically by providing unique, extended-day learning opportunities in partnership with the school, families, and the community.

A Typical Day:
2:45-5pm- Program Duration
Healthy Snack and Recess
Academic and Enrichment Hours
5:00-6:00pm- Extended Hours

Students work with classroom leads or certified teachers on homework assignments during the academic hour and participate in skill-building activities designed to complement their day-school learning. During enrichment hour, students participate in activities that expand on learning in ways that differ from the school day's methods. They often are interactive and project-focused.

The program serves any student that needs a safe and fun place to go after school. Programs are designed to enrich learning experiences in an afterschool setting.

We cannot guarantee the enrollment of students. Enrollment numbers are determined based on the number of available staff. For more information, please contact the site coordinator.
